ATA Timber mainly produces finished goods for the UK, US and European constructional/merchant sectors. The strategic and commercial benefits of expanding our UK business were recognised in 2020 with the opening of a UK subsidiary and dedicated stock facility in the port of Sheerness, Kent.

Product range at Sheerness Terminal
Our comprehensive inventory at the port of Sheerness includes the following product range:

Logistics
We have one to two sailings per month from the port of Karlshamn into our UK stock facility at Sheerness.
We use a local haulage provider that offers a 24–72 hour delivery service to most destinations within the UK mainland. Our experienced team will take care of all of your stock requirements to ensure that goods will be supplied in full and on time.
Environmental
ATA Timber takes sustainability and environmental credentials very seriously. We work closely with everyone from local forest owners, environmental accreditation schemes through to logistics suppliers to ensure a process which is sustainable and efficient, adding value to our clients.

NICHOLLS Transport is a traditional family owned haulage company with a large, modern fuel-efficient fleet. The majority of loads are delivered by gas vehicles running on biomethane which produce 75% less CO2 than a conventional diesel truck. The diesel vehicles run using AdBlue. They have won several awards for their environmental work over the last few years and hold ISO14001 environmental accreditation / certification in line with their environmental policy.
