Waggeryd Cell produces BCTMP pulp and is wholly owned by the ATA group. By adopting the latest processing technical advances, Waggeryd Cell is a leader in quality and efficiency. The raw material consists of sawmill chips, mainly from sawmills within the ATA group.
Waggeryd Cell’s annual sales are around SEK 800 million. The majority of the final product is exported. The pulp is transported by train in containers to export ports. In recent years, production has gradually risen from 55,000 annual tonnes to 225,000 annual tonnes. The company has 45 employees, which returns a production per employee and year of 3,900 tonnes.
