ATA Timber AB (Moheda) is the largest sawmill facility in the Group and is engaged in sawing low-grade and normal-grade timber.
The saw line which saws normal timber-grade comes from AriVislanda, and is a reduction line with profiling built into the 2nd reducer. In the partition saw it is possible to saw with up to six adjustable cuts. The edger is unmanned and supervision is carried out by the saw operator. For green sorting, the sawn product is assessed by quality and size, and is then sorted into lengths and packaged for drying. Annual production comes in at around 95,000 m3 of sawn goods per 8-hour shift.
The low-grade timber line uses AriVislanda machines and consists of two profiled reducers and one splitter saw. For green sorting, the sawn product is assessed by quality and size, and is then sorted into lengths and packaged for drying. Annual production comes in at around 60,000 m3 of sawn goods per 8-hour shift. The wood is dried in one of the eight chamber dryers or the two travelling dryers. Processing then takes place in one of four planing lines located in Moheda.
